About

A HCPC registered Counselling Psychologist

I am a HCPC registered Counselling Psychologist. After completing my professional doctorate in Counselling Psychologist, I have worked in the NHS and private practice, supporting people with a range of problems including anxiety, depression, self-esteem issues, work-place bullying, addiction, obsessive-compulsive disorder, self-harm, personality disorders, schizophrenia and bipolar affective disorder.

In terms of therapeutic approach, I believe it is important to try understand a person from their own perspective and support them to make sense of their internal experiences in a way that respects their individualism. I use evidence-based interventions grounded in acceptance and compassion to support the individual to overcome their difficulties, work towards their personal goals and better psychological well-being.

I identify as queer and mixed heritage.
